Dear Daughters of the King
I am overwhelmed with gratitude that you are adopting me through prayer and support. The fall of 2009 will be one of hard work and diligence. I am anticipating the challenge. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2005 with a BFA in Fashion Design. The past four years I have sought the Lord's plan for my life.
On March 7, 2007, the Lord called me to become a priest. A two-year discernment process followed. A very wise priest once told me, "if you still feel called to be a priest, keep pushing it away and see if it continues to come back!" I have done exactly that and the Lord's leading is clear.
As Always there are cloudy areas, and for those I need to be thankful. I have many ideas and plans of what and where God will lead me, but as I often like to quote," You never know what a day may bring forth" and, "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." Presently, I am drawn to the golbal mission concentration of the M. Divinity program at Trinity School for Ministry.
